My two horses are Excalibur and Hershey Kisses/

I love my horses and they do really well in training. Excalibur is a yearling and was born April 15,1999. He is soon going to be a show horse and hopefully will win. Hershey Kisses will also be a show horse, but I haven't been working with her as much because I have been working with Excalibur. To see the pictures scroll down.

How I train my horses,

Everybody trains their horses in a different way and I learned that you just have to find a way that you like best, or make up your own. So I like to go to the shows and watch all the different techniques and I'm still a beginner so I do not know much about it. Everybody says that you need to take a video camera and tape all the horses. To find out how I do it step by step scroll down to #2.

Other links to miniature horse sites:

There are now a lot of miniature horse farms that sell and buy and breed. I bought horses from the Lipperts. They have 70 miniature horses and they sell and buy. They do have a website and its www.mini-go-round.com. They do everything on miniature horses and they have really cool information.

The shows and or competitions:

The shows that I have been to I have learned that it can get very judgmental or emotional. Sometimes the shows can have very good judges or bad judges. Its just your luck. You do win awards and that can be fun if you get what you deserve. I am not trying to discourage, but if you want to get into this type of sport you have to be very tough and willing. I have had a lot of people tell me that! They do have certain shows for certain horses, such AMHA and AMHR. A horses are under a certain height and B horses are over the height. AMHA only has A horses there to show. AMHR has A and B horses. I like AMHR better.

About the miniature horses:

Miniature horses is the new thing around. They are horses that are a lot smaller than the full size horses. You cannot ride them, but you can do a lot of other things. To find out scroll down to #1 and you will see.

Horse Tack:

Horses tack is the stuff that you need to have horses. Such as halters, bits, lead ropes, buckets, grooming stuff, and all the show halters, leads, and carts. There is really not much to say about tack, but if you'd like more information go to this link at the top.
